Government to launch 24-hour public feedback unitBy Our Reporter
The government is set to establish a dedicated, round-the-clock service unit to receive, assess and respond to citizens’ views, proposals and complaints, the Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office - Labour, Employment and Relations, Hon. Deus Sangu, has revealed.
The initiative aims to remove bureaucratic hurdles by allowing members of the public to present their concerns directly, while providing the government with prompt and reliable feedback to guide policy improvements and enhance service delivery.
Minister Sangu made the announcement on December 23, 2025 in Sumbawanga, Rukwa Region, during a consultative meeting with industrial relations stakeholders representing social, political and economic groups, alongside youth representatives.
He underscored the importance of open communication and accountability between the government and citizens, describing them as essential to building public trust, strengthening national cohesion and promoting inclusive development.
The minister further explained that the meeting was intended to introduce the functions of his office and to roll out a stakeholder engagement strategy designed to foster shared understanding and collective commitment to national development goals.
The meeting was convened under the theme: “Strong Relations: The Foundation of National Unity.”
